Principal Business Finance - SK Process Architect OTC

 

We are looking for a Principal Business Finance - SK Process Architect OTC  to join the Finance team, reporting directly to the Head of Global Business Services (GBS) Finance.
 

This position is based at our office in Slovakia, Trnava.
 

As the Principal Business Finance - SK Process Architect OTC at Marelli, you will focus on optimizing the entire Order to Cash lifecycle (from order entry to cash application and dispute resolution) using Lean Six Sigma methodologies and lead high-complexity, cross-functional projects aimed at reducing OTC defects (order issues, billing errors, disputes), improving DSO performance, strengthening compliance, and enhancing customer and stakeholder satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • Project Leadership (DMAIC): Drive End-to-End (E2E) OTC improvement projects, utilizing Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) methodologies to identify waste and bottlenecks.
  • Performance Optimization: Analyze process gaps and root causes, guiding Finance, Sales, and Customer Service teams in defining and deploying corrective actions.
  • Data Analysis & Mapping: Facilitate problem‑solving workshops, ensure clear process documentation, and establish KPIs and governance routines.
  • Coaching: Mentor Green Belts and Finance/Customer Service teams, building capabilities in Lean Six Sigma and structured problem solving.
  • Technology & Automation: Support digital improvements (e.g., SAP enhancements, process mining, automation) across order entry, billing, cash application, and collections.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Master Data, Billing, Credit & Collections, Digital, and Finance to drive change and ensure internal control compliance.
  • KPI Management: Manage multiple Continuous Improvement projects, track progress, and report results to senior leadership with a data‑driven approach.

What Qualifications you will bring:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Fluent in English (Spanish knowledge is welcome).
  • 10+ years of experience in Finance processes with demonstrated expertise in OTC, and E2E frameworks.
  • Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies; Black Belt certification preferred
  • Excellent collaboration and change‑management capabilities; able to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with SAP, process mining tools (Celonis preferred), and digital automation (RPA/workflow).

Other skills that we would welcome:

  • Familiarity with internal controls, compliance, and risk frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams, SharePoint).
  • Experience in global transformation programs is a strong plus.
  • Experience in leading workshops, coaching teams, and driving measurable performance improvements.
