About the Position:
We are looking for a Account payable to join the Electronic Manufacturing team, reporting directly to Finance.
This position is based at our office in Tepotzotlan, México.
As the Account payable at Marelli, you will be responsible or managing and monitoring the accounts payable process to ensure the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments. This role supports financial integrity, assists in maintaining proper controls, and contributes to efficient logistics operations by liaising between suppliers, internal teams, and corporate finance.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Review, validate, and process vendor invoices in accordance with ELS and client guidelines.
- Ensure invoices are matched to purchase orders and goods receipts, resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Monitor and control payment schedules, ensuring timely settlement of supplier accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions in ELS financial and ERP systems.
- Support AP reconciliation, period-end closing, and reporting activities.
- Assist in internal and external audits related to accounts payable and AP control.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding payment status, disputes, and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- Experience in accounts payable or financial operations, ideally within logistics or 3PL environments.
- Proficiency with ERP and financial systems and standard office tools.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of AP control processes and compliance standards relevant to ELS.
