About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Receiving analyst  to join the Electronics Manufacturing team, reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor.
 

This position is based at our office in Tepotzotlan, México.
 

As the Receiving analyst at Marelli, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant receipt and inspection of inbound materials and products. This position supports inventory accuracy, quality standards, and efficient logistics operations by coordinating with suppliers, warehouse teams, and relevant internal departments. 

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, delivery notes, and ELS specifications.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet company and client standards.
  • Accurately record received items in inventory management systems and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Resolve discrepancies, damaged goods, and shortages with suppliers or internal teams.
  • Prepare and share receiving and inspection reports with inventory, quality, and operations departments.
  • Support the optimization of warehouse operations and material handling processes.
  • Assist with internal audits and participate in ongoing improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to safety standards and compliance requirements for all receiving activities.

What Qualifications you will bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or vocational training in logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in receiving, inventory control, or warehouse operations—ideally in logistics or 3PL environments.
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems (WMS), barcode/RFID technology, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and quality inspection procedures.
  • Ability to accurately document, record, and report receiving and quality control outcomes.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities in addressing discrepancies or shipment issues.
  • Capability to lift and move materials as required (physical fitness for warehouse tasks).

  • Communication: Effectively communicates with suppliers and internal teams regarding issues or requirements.
  • Adaptability: Responds well to changes in shipment schedules and operational procedures.
