About the Position:
The Junior Project Launch Manager supports the coordination and execution of new product launches in an electronics manufacturing plant. This role helps track timelines, deliverables, risks, materials, documentation, and production readiness to ensure projects move smoothly from planning to manufacturing. The position works closely with engineering, quality, production, supply chain, and customer teams. It is ideal for someone organized, proactive, and interested in developing project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Track launch timelines
- Action items, risks, and deliverables.
- Support APQP/PPAP documentation, engineering changes, pilot builds, material readiness, equipment validation, and production ramp-up.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare status reports, follow up with teams, and escalate delays or risks.
What Qualifications you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field. 5+ years in project launch, NPI, program management, or manufacturing engineering,IÓN preferably in electronics/automotive. Experience with SMT, assembly, testing, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, control plans, and Lean Manufacturing. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Other skills that would be welcome include experience with SMT, PCB assembly, electronics testing, automation, and manufacturing transfers. Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, MS Project, Power BI, SAP, or similar tools is also valuable. Strong customer communication, negotiation, leadership under pressure, and problem-solving skills are important. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ESD standards, and automotive customer requirements would be a strong advantage.
Expectations from you in this position:
In this position, we would expect you to successfully lead new product launches from planning to mass production, ensuring all milestones are completed on time and within budget. You should coordinate cross-functional teams, identify risks early, and drive quick problem resolution to avoid delays. We expect strong communication with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and compliance. You should also support continuous improvement and help ensure each launch meets customer expectations and plant performance targets.
