About the Position:

 

We are looking for a PLM Engineer  to join the Electronics Manufacturing team, reporting directly to the Process Engineering Manager .
 

This position is based at our office in Tepotzotlan .
 

As the PLM Engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of educational products and services, from conception and development to launch, maintenance, and retirement. The PLM collaborates with cross-functional teams, including content development, marketing, sales, and IT, to ensure that products align with organizational goals, customer needs, and industry standards.

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

  • Lead product planning and development processes for English language learning solutions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams during product ideation, design, development, launch, and post-launch activities.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify customer needs and trends.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps, timelines, and budgets.
  • Monitor product performance and user feedback to drive iterative improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with educational standards and regulations.
  • Manage the product retirement and transition process.

What Qualifications you will bring:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in product management or lifecycle management within education or language services industries.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Familiarity with digital education platforms and technologies.

Expectations from you in this position:

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in PLM processes, tools, and systems to optimize product delivery and quality.
  • Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to product teams, resolving PLM-related issues efficiently.
  • Training & Onboarding: Lead/planning onboarding sessions for internal teams on PLM tools, workflow automation, and best practices.
  • Vendor Management: Work with external software providers, managing integrations, updates, and issue resolution.
  • Innovation: Propose and pilot technological solutions to enhance product management and learning experiences.
  • Client-Facing Projects: Occasionally participate in client-driven platform implementations, adaptations, and customizations.
  • Adaptability: Stay abreast of technological changes, educational trends, and regulatory requirements affecting digital learning products.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly communicate progress, risks, and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
