  • Establish and maintain relationships with logistics service providers, transport companies, and other relevant partners.
  • Manage and motivate logistics team members; provide training, set objectives, and conduct performance reviews.

  • Monitor KPIs related to materials flow, inventory accuracy, transport costs, warehouse efficiency, and OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) delivery.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, process efficiency, and digitalization of logistics processes.
  • Support plant audits and customer visits as required, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
  • Prepare, analyze, and report logistics performance data to senior management.

What Qualifications you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Professional experience in logistics, ideally within electronics manufacturing or a high-paced industrial environment.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and digital logistics platforms; SAP experience preferred.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.

Other skills that we would welcome:

    • Drive continuous improvement, regularly reviewing and enhancing workflows to minimize waste, reduce costs, and optimize inventory.
  2. Reliable Delivery Performance

    • Consistently meet or exceed key performance targets (e.g., On-Time-In-Full delivery, inventory accuracy, transport cost reduction).
    • Guarantee timely supply of materials to production, preventing line stoppages due to logistics delays.
  3. Team Leadership & Development

    • Build a motivated, skilled logistics team through clear communications, goal-setting, training, and coaching.
    • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
  4. Compliance & Standards

    • Ensure strict adherence to Marelli’s safety, quality, and sustainability standards, as well as all applicable regulatory and legal requirements.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reporting.
  5. Cross-functional Collaboration

    • Champion strong collaboration with procurement, production, customer service, and external partners to align logistics strategies with plant objectives.
    • Act as a key point of contact for logistics information during customer visits, audits, and incident investigations.
  6. Data-Driven Management

    • Leverage data analytics and digital tools to monitor logistics performance, identify bottlenecks, and support decision-making.
    • Prepare regular, insightful reports on logistics KPIs for plant and global management.
  7. Problem Solving and Crisis Management

    • Proactively identify potential risks and resolve issues before they impact the business.
    • Lead effective response to logistics emergencies, such as supply disruptions or transport delays.
