About the Position:
We are looking for a Production Maintenance Worker to join the Electronics team, reporting directly to the Maintenance Coordinator.
This position is based at our office in Tepotzotlan, México.
As the Production Maintenance Worker at Marelli, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems to ensure reliable and efficient operation. Key tasks include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, conducting routine inspections, and responding to equipment breakdowns promptly. The role also involves documenting maintenance activities, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and complying with safety and quality standards. Collaboration with engineers and other team members is essential to minimize downtime and maintain optimal production flow.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
- Conduct routine inspections and equipment audits according to schedules.
- Document maintenance interventions and updates in the maintenance management system.
- Respond promptly to equipment failures to minimize downtime and support production continuity.
- Assist in installation, commissioning, and improvement of production machinery.
- Follow safety regulations and company procedures during all maintenance activities.
- Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement projects.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- High school diploma or technical degree in electromechanics, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1–3 years) in industrial maintenance or a similar role.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems in manufacturing environments.
- Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
- Basic computer skills for using maintenance management software.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work shifts and respond to emergency calls as needed.
- Commitment to safety and teamwork.
