About the Position:

The Project Launch Manager is responsible for leading new product launches in an electronics manufacturing plant, ensuring projects move smoothly from planning to full production. This role coordinates engineering, production, quality, supply chain, and customer teams to meet launch timing, cost, quality, and safety targets. The position requires strong project management, technical manufacturing knowledge, and bilingual communication skills. The main expectation is to deliver successful product launches on time, within budget, and according to customer and plant requirements.

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • Lead new product introductions from RFQ/award through SOP and ramp-up.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, production, supply chain, purchasing, finance, and customer teams.
  • Manage launch timing, APQP/PPAP deliverables, risk assessments, capacity readiness, tooling, equipment, materials, and customer milestones.
  • Track budget, open issues, engineering changes, and launch KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, IATF 16949, ESD, safety, and plant standards. 

What Qualifications you will bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field. 5+ years in project launch, NPI, program management, or manufacturing engineering,IÓN preferably in electronics/automotive. Experience with SMT, assembly, testing, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, control plans, and Lean Manufacturing. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Other skills that we would welcome:

Other skills that would be welcome include experience with SMT, PCB assembly, electronics testing, automation, and manufacturing transfers. Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, MS Project, Power BI, SAP, or similar tools is also valuable. Strong customer communication, negotiation, leadership under pressure, and problem-solving skills are important. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ESD standards, and automotive customer requirements would be a strong advantage.

Expectations from you in this position:

In this position, we would expect you to successfully lead new product launches from planning to mass production, ensuring all milestones are completed on time and within budget. You should coordinate cross-functional teams, identify risks early, and drive quick problem resolution to avoid delays. We expect strong communication with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and compliance. You should also support continuous improvement and help ensure each launch meets customer expectations and plant performance targets.
