About the Position:

We are looking for a Quality Management System Specialist (QMS) to join the Automotive Lighting team, reporting directly to the Quality Manager.
 

This position is based at our office in Tepotzotlan, México.
 

The QMS Specialist is responsible for managing, maintaining, and continuously improving the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with internal and external standards. The role supports the achievement of customer satisfaction through effective quality processes at the electronics manufacturing plant. 

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • Implement and oversee the QMS according to international standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring effective closure of findings.
  • Develop, update, and review quality procedures, instructions, and forms.
  • Train staff in quality policies, procedures, and tools.
  • Analyze quality performance indicators and propose improvement plans.
  • Follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure proper management of quality documentation and records.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and logistics departments to ensure quality requirements are met.

What Qualifications you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in quality management systems within electronics manufacturing or similar.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.
  • Experience in audits, document management, and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency with quality analysis tools (e.g., Pareto, Ishikawa).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Certifications in Six Sigma, Lean, or internal auditor are a plus

  • Problem-solving: Skilled in root cause analysis and in developing effective corrective actions.
  • Project management: Capable of coordinating quality-related projects, including timelines and resources.
  • Attention to detail: Ensures documentation, processes, and reports are accurate and compliant.
  • Adaptability: Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment and adjust to changing priorities.
  • Technical writing: Proficient in creating clear, concise procedures and reports.
  • Initiative: Proactively identifies opportunities to enhance quality, efficiency, or compliance.
  • Computer skills: Experienced with quality management software and MS Office suite.
