About the Position:
The Testing Coordinator manages and coordinates testing activities in an electronics manufacturing plant to ensure products meet quality, reliability, and customer requirements. This position monitors test results, equipment performance, failures, and production support needs while working closely with engineering, quality, maintenance, and production teams. The role helps identify defects, improve test yields, and maintain accurate procedures and documentation. It requires technical knowledge of electronics testing, strong organization, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Plan and coordinate functional, ICT, final, and reliability testing activities.
- Monitor test performance, yields, failures, downtime, and equipment availability.
- Support troubleshooting with engineering, quality, maintenance, and production teams.
- Ensure test procedures, fixtures, software, calibration, and documentation are updated. Train operators and technicians on testing processes.
- Report test results, defects, and improvement opportunities.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Technical degree or Bachelor’s in Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in electronics manufacturing testing, preferably SMT/PCB assembly. Knowledge of test equipment, ESD controls, reading schematics, and quality standards such as ISO 9001 or IATF 16949.
Other skills that we would welcome:
Analytical thinking, organization, communication, problem-solving, leadership, attention to detail, bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
