About the Position:
We are looking for a R&D Hardware Electronics Specialist to join the Motorsport R&D Hardware Electronics team, reporting directly to the Motorsport R&D Hardware Electronics Manager.
This position is based at our office in Venaria Reale (Turin area).
As the R&D Hardware Electronics Specialist at Marelli, you will support the development of Motorsport ECU and HW electronics applications.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Guarantee design activities of ECU (Electronic Control Unit), Inverter (GAN/SIC), Auxiliary modules
- Design of the complete electronic of the apparatus (schematics of electronics boards, BoM)
- Define the HW/SW interface working in collaboration with SW Designer/System Architect.
- Perform Electrical simulations of the electronic circuits
- Debug and validation of the unit
- Testing flow definition
- Release and update the documentation of the product
- Support activity of the Motorsport production (SOP and issues)
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Degree in Electric/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Education/Knowledge oriented to Automotive Electronic Units and its main circuit design
- Good Knowledge of electrical system/equipment and testing Automotive Validation
- 5-10 years’ experience in similar role from automotive (preferred), traction or industrial sectors
- Knowledge of Standard eCAD for electrical design; use of Mentor XDesigner schematic entry
- Good Knowledge of Spice and TeamCenter
- Ability to use lab standard instrumentation (Oscilloscope, multimeter, Signal Generator, Logic State Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzer, etc.) for debug activity
- Knowledge of EMC problems, signal integrity, and guidance rules
- Very good Knowledge of English and Italian

- Flexibility and ability to manage product full life cycle since customer requirements definition to SOP in cooperation with other departments
- Be able to interface on customer and even on supplier side dealing with challenging technical topics about product you are in charge of
