About the Position:
We are looking for a Innovation Specialist to join the Engineering Department Advanced Cabin UI&UX (Innovation & AE) team, reporting directly to the Haruhiko sato.
This position is based at our office in Yoshimi plant.
As the leader of Innovative Display Team, this year he will drive the development of 2 advanced displays projects both in the domain of LCD with new optical backlight concept and laser projection system. Those 2 projects are co-developed with Europe, local Japanese and international partners. He will lead two optical system engineers and provide mechanical/optical design support. At the same time, he will promote the developed technology to OEMs.
One year from now, as a manager of Innovation and AE Japan Team , he will be responsible for current development, future technology creation and planning, communication with OEMs, and team management, including HMI team.
What Qualifications you will bring:
･In terms of skills, basic knowledge of optical/mechanical systems and experience in meter/display/HUD development are desirable.
･Basics automotive skills especially for reliability constraints like temperature, vibration, environment.
･Basics automotive electronics knowledge like safety, EMC/EMI risk.
･Furthermore, when developing future technologies, he will need creative ideas, broad expertise beyond optics, and a strong drive to innovate. Previous research/advanced development experience is also desirable.
･We are seeking a dynamic young leader who will lead the entire Innovation and AE team and promote sales to OEMs. In addition, he will likely be interacting with overseas teams and customers/suppliers, so he will need to be able to communicate comfortably in English. Ideally, he will be able to sell our technology directly to overseas OEMs.
･Excellent communication skills within his team to drive results and keep the team focus on goals, within Marelli international functions especially with Europe and China, with partners and Customers with appetite for business development in and outside Japan. Possible trips in Europe, China or USA could be required.
･Project Management , cost management are required.
