About the Position:
We are looking for a Purchasing Controller to join the Interiors Division team, reporting directly to the Purchasing Controller’s Manager.
This position is based at our office in .Remote / Yoshimi, Saitama Prefecture, Japan
As the Purchasing Controller at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate.....
Your Responsibilities will be:
▪Reporting Monthly Actuals, Variance to plan and forecast, action plan to close gaps.
▪Facilitate and communicate timelines for monthly, quarterly and annual Managerial financial reporting.
Consolidate financial results for Interiors Division
▪Analyzing financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities to meet budget.
▪Collaborate with Division FP&A team on 5-year planning and Budget sessions
▪Business partner for function heads and region controllers.
▪Work with Region finance to understand the Variance to plan, forecast, commercial balance reports.
▪Deliver One Stream as single source of truth for Interiors Managerial Reporting.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A preferably in a manufacturing environme
- EDUCATION (SCHOOL/SPECIALIZATION): Bachelor’s degree
- LANGUAGES: Business fluency in English
Other skills that we would welcome:
- FP&A/Controlling function experienced (OneStream knowledge is a plus)
- Accounting experience or accounting degree a big plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with colleagues globally
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to details
- A self-starter with strong problem-solving skills able to work independently
- A willingness to learn and to adapt to business changes
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
