Software Project Leader

About the Position:

Our department focuses on software development, particularly meter software development.

This is a highly rewarding job that involves promoting software development in collaboration with Japanese OEMs, internal departments, overseas development teams, and domestic and international contractors.

We are looking for a software project lead (SWPL) to serve as the point of contact for our Japanese customers regarding software development by managing software development.

 SWPL will collaborate with our domestic and international development teams to secure software development and be able to develop the software independently as needed.

This position is based at our office in Yoshimi Plant.

Your Responsibilities will be:

・Manage QCD of software development to achieve targets.

・Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers.

・Participate in the entire software development lifecycle.

・Conduct software design reviews, code reviews and test reviews, and provide feedback to team members.

・Troubleshoot, debug, and update software.

・To complete the software with zero bugs and no quality issues before mass production.

・Stay up to date on the latest technological trends

What Qualifications you will bring:

・Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.

・Experience in embedded software development using the C language.(5 years or more)

・Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

・Familiarity with software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum).

・Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

・Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

・Being quick on your feet and able to work hard with a positive attitude.

・Experience in software development management.(3 years or more)

・Experience using basic measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, CANAlyzer, etc.)

・Knowledge of microcontroller peripheral functions and development experience

・English proficiency (TOEIC score over 600).

・Knowledgeable about automotive functions (has experience in automotive-related development) or Interested in automobiles.

Other skills that we would welcome:

・Experience with MATLAB model development

・Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

・Knowledge of CI/CD.

・Knowledge of software test efficiency and automation
