Sobre la posición:
We are looking for a Production Planning & Control Coordinator to join the Marelli team, reporting directly to the PP&C Manager.
As a PP&C Coordinator at Marelli, you will ensure production efficiency by coordinating planning and shop floor activities. You’ll analyze processes, optimize resources, and drive improvements that contribute to operational excellence, working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Tus Responsabilidades serán:
- Perform analysis of production lines, including workload balancing and workstation layout design.
- Calculate and monitor production losses, as well as key performance indicators (efficiency index, standard times, effective hours, etc.).
- Plan and define the required number of workers (direct and indirect), shifts, and their duration according to daily production needs.
- Assess and adjust daily workforce allocations, ensuring appropriate operational coverage.
- Support the Plant Manager in identifying high-performance areas and low-efficiency processes.
- Develop and analyze work cycles, breaking down operations into phases/elements and identifying opportunities to optimize times and combine operations.
- Use time measurement tools to conduct direct analysis of times and movements in the production area.
- Monitor operational plan data and prepare performance indicators based on the relationship between the produced volume and workforce presence.
- Manage and apply internal rules, union agreements, and local, national, and international regulations related to health, safety, and labor relations.
- Collaborate in resolving administrative matters related to personnel management and compliance.
Qué cualificaciones traerás:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in production planning and control, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge in process analysis, indicator development, line balancing, and labor management.
- Skilled in time and motion study tools.
- Up-to-date understanding of labor and industrial safety regulations.
- Analytical mindset, results-oriented, and strong communication skills.
- Proficient in using SAP system and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
