Sobre la posición:

We are seeking a Manufacturing Workforce Planning Manager to join Marelli, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.

As a leader in workforce planning, you will be responsible for developing and executing the workforce strategy for manufacturing operations, ensuring production efficiency and continuous process improvement.

You will oversee a team of specialists, set standards and KPIs, and lead improvement projects that drive operational excellence across the plant. 

Tus Responsabilidades serán:

  • Design, implement, and lead the workforce planning strategy for the manufacturing plant, aligning human resources with business goals and production demands.
  • Supervise and develop the Workforce Planning team, managing daily activities and supporting professional growth.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to efficiency, productivity, line balancing, and time standards; present executive analyses to management.
  • Lead transformation and continuous improvement projects, deploying Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process digitalization methodologies.
  • Manage the definition of optimal staffing levels, shifts, and durations according to production needs and demand fluctuations.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal policies, union agreements, and local, national, and international regulations related to health, safety, and labor relations.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources, PP&C, Operations, and Safety areas to optimize processes, resolve issues, and ensure efficient interdepartmental workflow.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and optimization in workforce planning and personnel management processes.
  • Manage the department's budget and lead cost reduction and profitability improvement initiatives related to workforce management.
  • Serve as a technical reference for time and motion studies, implementing advanced tools (including SAP and Microsoft Suite) and promoting a data-driven decision-making culture.
  • Represent the plant during internal and external audits regarding personnel management.

Qué cualificaciones traerás:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; post-graduate studies (MBA, Master’s in Operations, etc.) are desirable.
  • Over 5 years of experience in workforce planning or production control roles, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and continuous improvement projects.
  • Extensive knowledge in process analysis, indicator development, line balancing, workforce management, and labor regulations.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP, Excel, and analytics tools.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
