The Manufacturing Workforce Planning Manager is a senior management role responsible for developing and executing workforce strategies that support Marelli’s operational objectives.
This leader ensures optimal staffing, process efficiency, and continuous improvement across the manufacturing plant. As a key member of the plant’s management team, the Manager will drive data-driven decisions, champion compliance, and foster a culture of excellence.
Tus Responsabilidades serán:
- Strategic Workforce Planning: Formulate and implement comprehensive workforce strategies aligned with plant goals and production forecasts, ensuring agility and responsiveness to market demands.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary workforce planning team. Foster a collaborative environment focused on professional growth, accountability, and results.
- Performance Management: Establish, monitor, and analyze KPIs for efficiency, productivity, line balancing, and labor standards. Present actionable insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Operational Excellence: Lead transformation initiatives, deploying Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and digitalization to drive process improvements and cost efficiencies.
- Resource Optimization: Define optimal staffing models, shift structures, and labor allocation to maximize productivity, manage demand fluctuations, and reduce costs.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure robust adherence to internal policies, union agreements, and regulatory requirements (local and international) related to health, safety, and labor relations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Production, Operations, and Safety teams to optimize workforce processes and resolve complex challenges.
- Innovation & Automation: Identify and lead automation initiatives and adoption of advanced workforce management technologies (including SAP, analytics, and Microsoft Suite).
- Budget Responsibility: Establish and manage departmental budgets. Lead cost management and profitability improvement projects pertaining to workforce planning.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the plant in internal/external audits and act as a technical authority for time & motion studies and workforce analytics.
Qué cualificaciones traerás:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, Master’s in Operations) preferred.
- Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in workforce planning or production management, ideally within automotive/manufacturing.
- Proven managerial experience leading diverse teams and continuous improvement projects.
- Strong expertise in process analysis, workforce management, labor regulations, and KPI development.
- Advanced proficiency in workforce planning tools including SAP, Excel, and analytics platforms.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages a plus.
