About the Position:
We are looking for a [MFE Engineer ] to join the [MFE Department +PS] team, reporting directly to the [MFE Manager].
This position is based at our office in [Hefei].
As the [Job Title] at Marelli, you will be Manufacturing system continuous improvements to improve productivity and reduce manufacturing cost, make products as competitive level.
Your Responsibilities will be:
1. Test Process Development & Maintenance:
1) Design and optimize functional test processes for high-pressure fuel pumps (pressure, flow, leakage, CAN communication, etc.). Create work instructions and standard operating procedures.
2) Develop and maintain C language automated test scripts to send commands, acquire data, perform pass/fail judgments, and generate test reports.
2. Test Data Analysis & Problem Diagnosis
1) Analyze pressure curves and CAN signals to extract key features (rise rate, fluctuation amplitude, leakage pressure drop) and identify abnormal patterns.
2) Lead in failure analysis, correlate multi-dimensional data to locate root causes, and drive design or process improvements.
3. Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
1) Lead MSA validation (GR&R, Cgk) for test stations to ensure repeatability, reproducibility, and linearity meet requirements.
2) Optimize fixtures, algorithms, or test procedures based on MSA results.
4. Electrical Control & Hydraulic System Support: Analyze hydraulic test circuits (pressure sensors, flow meters, relief valves, etc.). Resolve hydraulic test anomalies such as cavitation, internal leakage, and pressure pulsation.
5. Common Instrument Operation & On-site Troubleshooting
1) Proficiently use multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, current clamps, etc., to troubleshoot sensor signal interference, unstable power supply, abnormal drive waveforms, and other hardware issues.
2) Quickly respond to production line test abnormalities and support cycle time achievement. Prepare relevant process documents (including layout of shop floor, equipment and tooling technical contract, process flow chart, PFMEA, MSA, Process card, WIs).
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Electrical control understanding: Familiar with CAN bus protocol. Able to use CAN tools (e.g., PCAN, CANoe) to send/receive messages and parse physical values (pressure, speed, fault codes).
- At least 3 years of working experience as a test engineer.
- Hydraulic understanding: Understand working principles of high-pressure pumps (pressure building, metering, relief). Able to analyze pressure curve characteristics and common hydraulic faults.
- Data analysis: Proficient in Excel, or Python for test data processing. Able to extract features and conduct root cause analysis. Having the PLC or programming knowledge is preferred.
- MSA: Understand GR&R and Cgk concepts and acceptance criteria (%GR&R <10%, Cgk ≥1.33). Have practical application experience.
- C language development: Able to independently write C-based test automation scripts (including CAN communication, data acquisition, judgment logic, exception handling).
- Instrument operation: Skilled in using multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, current clamps for circuit/signal troubleshooting.
