About the Position:
We are looking for a Packaging Engineer to join the Logistics-Lighting team, reporting directly to the Transport and Warehouse N-AM Manager.
This position is based at our office Juarez,Chihuahua.
As the [Job Title] at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate.....
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Design, develop, and validate packaging solutions for new and existing products.
- Create and maintain packaging specifications, standards, and work instructions.
- Coordinate packaging, transportation, and storage validation testing.Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities related to packaging materials and processes.
- Manage returnable and expendable packaging inventories.
- Support logistics operations, including shipping, warehousing, and transportation activities.
- Analyze and optimize material flow, storage utilization, and distribution processes.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Customer Service teams.Lead continuous improvement projects focused on packaging efficiency and logistics performance.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, safety regulations, and quality standards.Monitor packaging and logistics KPIs and drive corrective actions when needed.
What Qualifications you will bring:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Packaging Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in packaging engineering, logistics, or supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment.Knowledge of packaging materials, returnable containers, and transportation requirements.

Experience with warehousing, inventory control, shipping, and logistics processes.

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.Experience using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
