About the Position:
We are looking for a QMP-Quality Engineer New Projects to join the Quality team, reporting directly to the Plant Quality Manager.
This position is based at our office in Juarez.
As the at Marelli QMP-Quality Engineer New Projects, you will be responsible/support/elevate.....
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Lead quality activities during new product launches, transfers, and project implementation.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, automotive standards, and internal quality systems.
- Coordinate and develop APQP deliverables, including PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, and PPAP submissions.
- Participate in design reviews, feasibility studies, risk assessments, and process validation activities.Drive problem-solving initiatives using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why Analysis, and Ishikawa.
- Monitor quality performance indicators throughout project development and launch phases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Support internal, customer, and certification audits related to new projects.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in New Project Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Automotive Quality Engineering.Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, and Control Plans.
- Understanding of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and AIAG Core Tools requirements.
- Experience with problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal).Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and quality management systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Internal Auditor certification for IATF 16949.
- Knowledge of GD&T and technical drawing interpretation.
- Experience using statistical analysis tools such as Minitab.
- Project management experience.Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.Customer-focused mindset with excellent organizational skills.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing processes and product launches.
