About the Position:

 

We are looking for a QMS Coordinator  to join the Quality,Lighting team, reporting directly to the Quality Manager.
 

This position is based at our office in Juarez.
 

As the QMS Coordinator at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate.....

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

  • Maintain and update QMS documentation to comply with IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 requirements (processes, procedures, audit records).
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute internal and external audits based on IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3; follow up on findings with corrective/preventive actions.
  • Support implementation and monitoring of process and product audits according to VDA 6.3 methodology.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 requirements.
  • Monitor QMS performance through automotive KPIs; report results to management.
  • Ensure robust document control processes for versioning and traceability.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams regarding quality issues and expectations.
  • Support activities and documentation for core automotive quality tools (FMEA, PPAP, APQP, MSA, Control Plan).
  • Stay updated on changes in industry standards and customer-specific requirements.

What Qualifications you will bring:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Industrial Management, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience with IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 standards in the automotive sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and ISO 9001.
  • Experience in planning, carrying out, and following up automotive audits.
  • English proficiency (spoken and written).

  • Proficient in MS Office, QMS software, and automotive tools (FMEA, PPAP, APQP, Control Plan, MSA).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
