About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Automation Engineer  to join the Manufacturing team, reporting directly to the Plant Manufactuing Engineer.
 

This position is based at our office in Ciudad Juarez.
 

As the Automation Engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate.....

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

  • Design, program, and maintain automated control systems (PLC, SCADA, HMI, etc.).
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automation systems.
  • Collaborate with IT, production, and maintenance teams for integration projects.
  • Develop technical documentation, procedures, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables.

What Qualifications you will bring:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial automation or controls engineering.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and automation best practices.
  • English proficiency; other languages are a plus.
  • Certification in automation technologies or safety standards (desirable)

Other skills that we would welcome:

 

  • Proficiency in programming PLCs and familiarity with SCADA/HMI systems.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with industrial sensors, actuators, and robotics.
  • Knowledge of networking and industrial communication protocols.
